Molten Rust
Dean Lane, Grafitti Archaeology

Bringing the outside in, images from the legendary South Bristol Skatepark, one of the birthplaces of the Bristol grafitti scene, a canvas of ramps and bowls, the site of over 50 years of continuous over painting and wear from skateboards and rollerblades. We were drawn to document not so much individual pieces of graffiti as the accumulation of marks, colour, and wear from continuous use.

Outside in, Orange and Prussian Blue

The elements, time, use, and chance give rise to surfaces with a subtlety, richness and sense of history that few artists can match. We harness this rich visual resource, bringing the outdoors in, through the creation of unique furnishing fabrics.

Flower Field

An alternative discourse within the floral fabric tradition. Images for fabric that interrupt the lifecycle of the humblest wildflower. How a transitory explosion of colour and form can fade into fragile beauty.

Tarmac

Strong, graphic, monochrome, abstract shapes, from the outsized markings of disused airfields, eroded through time and use, designed to compliment contemporary interiors.

Clouds

The scale, drama and majesty of cloudscapes.

Fractured Light

Rich, vibrant abstract chroma, from the fractured, overlaid planes of  discarded plastics.
